Aftercare Instructions 🛡️
  • The First 24 Hours ⏳

    • Once your tattoo is finished, the artist will apply a protective bandage. Keep this bandage on for 2-4 hours to protect your tattoo from bacteria.
    • After removing the bandage, gently wash the tattoo with water and mild, fragrance-free soap.
    • Pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel. Avoid rubbing the area as this can cause irritation.
  • Keep It Clean and Moisturized 💧

    • Clean your tattoo 2-3 times a day for the first week using lukewarm water and mild soap.
    • Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free, alcohol-free lotion or tattoo aftercare ointment after each wash.
    • Do not apply too much lotion, as this can suffocate the skin. A thin layer is enough to keep it hydrated.
  • What to Avoid 🚫

    • Avoid direct sunlight on your tattoo for at least 2-3 weeks. Sun exposure can fade the colors and slow down the healing process.
    • Do not submerge your tattoo in water. Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and baths for the first 2-3 weeks.
    • Don’t scratch or pick at your tattoo, even if it becomes itchy. Allow the skin to peel naturally to avoid scarring.
  • Long-Term Care 🛡️

    • After your tattoo has healed, always apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) when exposed to sunlight to prevent fading.
    • Keep your tattoo moisturized even after the healing process to maintain vibrant colors and healthy skin.
  • Signs of Infection or Complications ⚠️

While most tattoos heal without issues, it's important to watch for signs of infection:

    • Excessive redness or swelling after the first 48 hours.
    • Pus or discharge from the tattoo.
    • Fever or chills.

If you notice any of these signs, contact a healthcare professional or reach out to our studio for advice.
