At Suavez Tattoo, we value creativity and originality. This Intellectual Property Policy outlines how we protect the designs created by our artists and the guidelines for their use.

1. Ownership of Designs

  • All tattoo designs created by artists at Suavez Tattoo are the intellectual property of the artist or the studio.
  • Custom designs are created exclusively for the client; however, the ownership of the artwork remains with Suavez Tattoo unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

2. Client Use of Designs

  • Clients are granted a non-exclusive, limited license to use the design solely as a tattoo applied by Suavez Tattoo.
  • Reproducing, modifying, or distributing the design for commercial or personal purposes is prohibited without prior written consent from Suavez Tattoo.

3. Digital and Physical Copies

  • Any digital or physical copies of a design provided to the client are for reference purposes only. These copies cannot be used for replication by another artist or studio.
  • Sharing these designs publicly (e.g., on social media) without crediting the artist is discouraged but not prohibited.

4. Reproduction by Third Parties

  • Suavez Tattoo strictly prohibits the reproduction or application of its designs by other artists or studios without explicit authorization.
  • If a client chooses to take a design to another artist without permission, Suavez Tattoo reserves the right to pursue legal action to protect its intellectual property.

5. Copyright Infringement

  • Unauthorized use or reproduction of any artwork, images, or designs created by Suavez Tattoo is considered a violation of copyright laws.
  • Violators may face legal consequences, including fines or other penalties.

  • Suavez Tattoo reserves the right to use images of completed tattoos and designs for its portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes.
  • If a client prefers their tattoo not to be shared publicly, they must notify the studio in writing before or during their session.

We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date revised accordingly.
